Gracie Spent the Night!

Gracie rode in Grandpa's red truck to Grandma and Grandpa's house today. She is spending the night. Grandpa took her to the store and he bought her a purple balloon. When they got home they ate soup that Gracie picked out of the pantry. Grandma arrived home from work in time to have some soup, too. She had a different kind of soup because Gracie and Grandpa actually opened TWO kinds of soup but they only ate one kind of soup. Grandpa and Gracie liked the squiggly noodles. Grandma never saw the squiggly noodles because they were all gone when she got home--all gone except the ones that didn't make it into Gracie's mouth and ended up on the floor under the table!
Gracie loved watching a movie and playing with the purple balloon. She has a balloon game to let the balloon go up to the end of the string when she says, "Let it go!" Then Gracie says "Get it!" as she pulls the balloon back down.
When the movie was over and everyone had a sore side from laughing. We all put on our pajamas. Grandpa asked Gracie to say the family prayer, but what happened is Grandma was helping Gracie with what to say and guess who repeated the prayer? GRANDPA!
After prayers Gracie was happy to see Ducky and went right to sleep in Grandma's crib upstairs.
It is pretty fun to have Gracie spend the night!
