Gracie & Ainsley Sleep Over

When we finished playing farm, Gracie, Ainsley and I went out to picnic in the back yard.
But what we found was more exciting than the treats!!! We found a rollie-pollie bug! We all
watched it roll up in a ball when we held it in our hands. We finally sent the bug home in the grass!

Then inside for dress ups and coloring! We danced, colored, ate,
played with the farm, blocks, and ate again!

We had a couple of upsets...in the night Gracie got up and put all the books on two book shelves into Ainsley's crib (yes, she woke up, too!) Of course, Grandpa slept through the entire ordeal!
I decided having Gracie and Ainsley in the same room wasn't that good of an idea. I separated them and they slept the rest of the night!

The other upset was when Gracie was supposed to be going to the bathroom---but instead opened four tubes of lotion and squirted the content into Grandpa's soap dish! (overflowing onto the stool and floor!) Gracie had lotion all over her legs and arms---looked white as chalk, but we rubbed it in to smell beautiful and feel smooth! I thought about the wonderful poem Erma Bombeck wrote describing the grass and that it will grow back--after the kids are gone.

So life goes when we have Sleep Overs at Grandma and Grandpa's house!
