Time--Enjoy the Journey

Is it time?
All our kids have moved out, and I'm thinking about my next hobby......varoooooom! (Notice I can't be too serious about this varoom devise.....check out the open toed biker boots!!!?)

Time is relevant, depending where you are in life.
Just take it from someone (me) pasted middle age (unless I live to be 114!) Life is too short on this earth to not enjoy the journey. When we don't have kids, we wish we did. When we have babies we wish we could sleep all night. When they are teenagers we wonder if they'll live to be 21! When they date we worry about who they are dating, knowing they don't realize how impacting their spouse is on the rest of their lives!

Some parents often wish their children were older than they are.
Don't wish time away. Enjoy children at their current stages in life! Shortly, they grow up and move out, get their individual identity in the world--it happens fast!

Enjoy life and the journey. Each of our lives are divinely established through choices and agency.

So, once again I say, enjoy the journey! Love every stage in your life. Even the seemingly difficulty stages will look differently in 50 years.

Amen, sister! Wish we had understood this lesson about 35 years ago. I would have handled life so differently. I always envied those who appreciated their children and all the accompanying experiences. Is there any way we could go back and have do-overs on just a few things? Maybe a Refresh button or something?

You're right! It does happen fast. All I did was blink! But it's not too late to start with the here and now . . .

Hope you're having a great day!
